Not only have I got the clinical chops* - an advanced degree in psychology, licensure as a therapist, plenty of additional training with wonderful teachers to hone my skills - I’ve got the life experience to back it up. I’ve been in the business world, I’ve raised a child (along with his father, my ex-husband), I’ve faced my demons in my own therapy, learned to accept my own “stuff” and made necessary changes. In fact, my becoming a therapist is one of those changes. I even re-married in mid-life at an age when women have been told we were more likely to die in a terrorist attack than find love! Good grief.
I’m no superwoman. I’ve felt hopeless and in despair. I’ve suffered from intense moments of anxiety. And yet, today my life is different, even if there are still moments of just plain yuck. But a few moments of yuck on the path of being my best self is way different than months (and years) of it that I used to suffer from. Like I said, I know you. And you deserve to have a great life, fulfilling work and wonderful relationships.
Your great life and love awaits you. I look forward to hearing from you.
Warmly,
P.S. - Here are the "chops"
